The most complete event dedicated to equestrian sport, at a national level, is back in Ponte de Lima, from August 15 to 18.

Over the course of four days, and at Expolima, an infrastructure built specifically for this, the II Equestrian Games combine a range of tests from the most diverse disciplines and in the same space.

Among these, the National Jumping Competition, at 12 noon on Wednesday and Thursday, and at 9:00 on Friday stand out.

Friday night is marked by the Iberian Horseball Tournament, which starts at 7:00 p.m., and by the Driving Derby that takes place at 10:00 p.m.

It is on Saturday night that, at 9:00 pm, the Iberia Horseball Tournament ends, finishing at 10:00 pm, with the Cavalhadas and the Demonstration of the Race of Garranos (horse breed) de Passo Travado and Galloping.

The success of the event created for the first time on national soil, in Ponte de Lima, has been such that other areas of the country have adopted it.

Under the dynamic of the "Ponte de Lima, International Equestrian Destination" project, this new brand of success acts as a motivator for a series of dynamics that, driven by high competition equestrian sports, stir socially, culturally and economically which the Municipality aims to empower.

The inauguration of the event will take place next Friday at 6:30 pm in Expolima, but the competitions and equestrian competitions will take place next Wednesday, August 15th.
