Here, in this belvedere, is the magnificent view over the Lima Valley and the vestiges of a settlement from the Iron Age. The excavations carried out in August and September of 1979 on the 'castro' (hillside fortified settlement) of Saint Estêvão, in the parish of Facha, brought to light and deepened the knowledge of the previous history of this region.
