Barreiro Manor House stands majestically at the top of the slope about 5 km from Ponte de Lima. From the mid-seventeenth century and with a beautiful central courtyard, it represents a reference to the architectural elegance of the noble houses of Ribeira Lima.

The vineyard farmhouse, gardens and terraces allow you to observe birds, cornucopias and a panel in trompe-l'oeil, with a monumental staircase where a passionate couple and a greyhound pose.

The set constitutes a magnificent example of Portuguese tiles, commissioned by Jorge Colaço, one of the great revivalists of the use of the decorative tile in Portugal. Highlight are the Loureiro and Vinhão grape varieties that give for excellent wines from the Barreiro Manor House.
