The local cuisine of Ponte de Lima, the excellence of its Vinhos Verdes - both the Loureiro and Vinhão vine verities - endogenous products such as smoked sausages, cider, honey, handicrafts and folk traditions are the image and some of the products, which will be featured at the Xantar - International Salon of Gastronomy and Tourism.

They will be exhibited at the stand of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima, from Wednesday, the 6th of February onwards and it is to be held in Ourense - Galicia.

As in previous editions, the Municipality of Ponte de Lima will be present with its own stand, aiming at the promotion of agricultural food products as well as the tourist offer of Ponte de Lima.

Xantar is a reference in the promotion of Gastronomy and local products, highlighting its tourism and nutritional side, defending the health benefits of an Atlantic diet.
On Friday, the 8th of February, the Day of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima, where the City Councvil will be present, Xantar will feature Sarrabulho à Moda de Ponte de Lima, a regional specialty as well as the colours and sounds of the Typical Folklore Group of the Correlhã.

On the 7th of February, the Gastronomic Confraternity of Sarabulho à Moda de Ponte de Lima will also participate in the 14th International Meeting of Gastronomic and Wine Connoisseur Confraternities. On the day dedicated to Ponte de Lima, the Loureiro will be commented on between 15h45 and 16h30. 

From 16h00 until 17h00, there will be a show cooking by the Gastronomic Confraternity of Sarabulho à Moda de Ponte de Lima and prepared by the Rotunda da Feitosa Restaurant, washed down with Loureiro variety wines from Casa da Cuca.

Between 18h00 and 19h00, there will be a presentation, confection and tasting of the Folar Limiano, another local delicacy made from products from Ponte de Lima.  

The program ends at 19h00 with the blending of Loureiro Wine from Ponte de Lima with chocolate.
