To mark the World Wine Tourism Day, Ponte de Lima, promoted a trip on the Água-arriba boat, from Ponte de Lima to Refoios do Lima, tasting the Loureiro wine of Ponte de Lima and a visit to the Quinta da Cuquinha and Casa da Cuca, in Moreira do Lima, including the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, a magnificent example of roman arquitecture.

During the tour through the vineyards of Quinta da Cuquinha, the production system was made known, as well as the investment made on the recovery of old varieties, asserting itself as a differentiating project. At the end, the participants were presented with a wine tasting paired with local products, including compounds produced there.

Sunday, 14th of November, visits to the Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde Center were free of charge, in order to make this space known which main objective is contribute to the promotion of Vinho Verde associated to its territory as a product of excellency, as well as the development and affirmation of wine tourism in the Vinho Verde's region.

The initiative was promoted in partnership with Feel Travel Minho, who presented the results of the 1st edition of the project "Lourear a Pevide", which took place between September and October 2021, as well as the action plan for future editions.

This actions had the participation of 20 people, some were professionals from the food sector.

These visits have as a main objective to create direct contact between producers and the local restaurants, since the latter play a key role as agents to promote and valorize the wines produced in Ponte de Lima, as a product of excellency.
