The Municipality of Ponte de Lima was present at the sixth edition of "VINIPAX 2018 - Wines and Sensations of the South".

Considered to be the largest wine event to be held south of Lisbon, VINIPAX took place in the Beja Fair and Exhibition Park and brought together dozens of producers from the Alentejo, Algarve, Setúbal and Tejo Peninsular regions.

The Municipality of Ponte de Lima presented itself at the event with its own stand and in where it showed its cultural, patrimonial and natural heritage as a way to promote its main gastronomic and tourist potential.

The image and products of Ponte de Lima, namely the Vinho Verde and the smoked Sausages of excellence, key elements and points of attraction to Ponte de Lima throughout the year, integrated a sample that captivated the visitors of VINIPAX .

The event was attended by 12 foreign journalists from some of the main Portuguese wine importing countries (United States, Canada, Brazil, England, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland and Hungary, among others), as well as Anne Meglioli, secretary general of FIJEV - International Federation of Wine Journalists and Writers.
