On July 22 and 23, a reporting team from the Échappées Belles program belonging to the French channel France 5 was in Ponte de Lima to report on the oldest village in Portugal.

France 5 is one of the cultural channels on French television, with the Échappées Belles program on the air for more than ten years, with a wide audience worldwide.

With the support of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima, the Confraternity of the Sarrabulho à Moda de Ponte de Lima, PL Arte and local, Tiago Lopes, author of the Go To Portugal blog, a report was carried out showing the culture and traditions of Ponte de Lima, constituting itself as a great opportunity to promote Ponte de Lima to the Francophone community and, in particular, to our emigrants.

The program will go on channel France 5 in May 2019.
