The Casa da Terra is
located in an area of great cultural and historical value, former Women’s
Jail.
It is an area of excellence that seeks to enhance the habits and
customs of the Alto Minho ever more.
The dissemination and promotion of the
products of the municipality of Ponte de Lima is our main objective.
Taking advantage of
the great gastronomic wealth, this project counts on the collaboration of a
large number of wine producers, jams, vegetables and fruits, bread and sweets,
meat and of course, sausages from Minho
Fumeiro that mirror the traditional sausages in the region.
The
dissemination of the local culture is highlighted as well as local crafts.
