Like last year, the Portuguese Consulate in Galicia promotes the celebrations of the Day of Portugal, Camões and the Portuguese Communities, in close collaboration with the municipalities of northern Portugal. The festivities will again take place in the center of the city of Ourense, namely in the Bispo Cesáreo Square and in Ourense's Plaza Mayor, both of which have excellent conditions and infrastructures.

The culture and the local ethnography will be represented through the Ribeira Folkloric Dance Group and the performance will be scheduled for Saturday, June 9, at 4:00 p.m.
